Does having intermittent autobiographical memory loss pose an ethics problem?
Let’s assume that the “steps for making ethical decisions” resides in procedural memory. Procedural memories are stored separately from episodic memories, and autobiographical memories are a subset of episodic memories, so the loss one one and retention of the other is possible.
