V1: Where can dreams take us?
V2: I have been taken by a dream,
V1: Beyond the plains, beyond the mountain range
V2: Carried beyond the lands that I know–
V1: Over the deep sea where the shearwaters slide.
V2: Strange waters, strange sights, strange sounds.
V1: We are set free, released.
V2: Safe in the shell of my dream,
V1: Do we choose to accompany the dream and
V2: I relax, watching the sky idly,
V1: Travel beside the dream to the end?
V2: Knowing all will be well.
V1: Future obscured, present confused–
V2: Murky waters distilled to crystal purity
V1: But the vision is clear of tint or shade
V2: Clear water bearing my coracle
V1: A brilliant core in the soul.
V2: Down to a sea of sleep.
