Building blogs

I helped a friend get into blogging by building him a blog of his own.
It wasn’t so long ago that I thought blogging was nothing more than keeping an online journal. In the last year, I’ve learned it can be much more than just “what I had for dinner.” Through blogging, I’ve been able […]

More Chicago pix added

I added a mess more Chicago pix to the gallery tonight. Again, Sdalek took most of these.
I also started working on a main site portal for the two of us with a project management application and some other things. I added a couple wikis (trying to choose one) to play with interactive fiction. I […]

Indexing class

After nearly two years of thinking about it, I am finally enrolled in an indexing class. Once I decided this was something that interested me, it only took me a couple months to pare down which program to follow.

I’ll be adding more pictures. […]

Chicago Trip Recovery

I got back from Chicago this afternoon. Excellent trip. Saw lots, lots of great conversation, recharged some batteries. At the moment, I am profoundly tired.

Never fails–you come back from a trip and have to collapse completely. I have notes, some pictures, good memories.
And lots of work to do:

CISA to study for.
My indexing class starts next […]

NaNo Ideas

Yesterday we were at the Navy Pier listening to a band from Asheville, NC, playing rock music with Ivory Coast elements.

We’d spent two days absorbing the atmosphere of Chicago and enjoying the company of a new friend. Everything smooshed into a concept (title, some events, a general plotline, some characters) for a NaNo novel. I’m […]

I am deeply interested in MBTI and Jung, but the name of my domain has nothing to do with either.
In college, I had a physics professor who would present a problem and work mostly through it. Then he would stop, wave at it, and say, “The rest is intuitively obvious.”
Most of the class would stare […]
