After several long emails back and forth and exchanges of examples, I think we’re getting some ground under our feet.

What I love most about his writing is the immediacy and warmth. His personality is so strong and his voice so good. He commented on his need for an audience, so I am it at the moment. That’s fine–I understand the desire for an audience. Individually we came to the conclusion that his emails would make good starters for blog postings. The personal stuff needs to be removed, of course…some of it, at least. And beginnings and endings will need to be strengthened, transitions tightened. Our emails are casual and drift from point to point.

It’s a good place to start, I think.

In the meantime, I am researching marketing and compiling a stylesheet of sorts. I’d like an “elevator speech” to include on the blog somewhere, which will be good for the blog and for focusing our vision of what that blog should look like. Then we make it happen.
