The pic for today is of one of our kitchen cabinets. And in the picture are pictures.
Of bread.
Yes, that is the first loaf of bread I ever baked. From scratch. I took two pictures, one with flash and one without. I really liked the dim, grainy picture. Bread, looming from the darkness.
The dawn of the […]

I don’t know if I can keep this concept running for a whole year, but I’m going to try.
I think NaNo will be easier, really.
Today I feature the Tower of Power, the current selection of reading materials in the bathroom.
You can tell we have a wide range of interests. Photography, Esperanto, XHTML, CSS….
Also, I’ve added […]

The dog has been ill lately.
In September, she was very sick. Could keep no food or water in or down. She became dehydrated. She ended up on antibiotic and anti-nausea medications.

I spent some time cleaning yesterday. Found my Gregg Manual buried under a pile of photography magazines. It was nice to have found that.
The dog is sick again.
Yesterday for breakfast I had a can of Sirloin Burger Chunky soup. I didn’t eat again until 3:30 pm, when I had a bologna and cheese sandwich. […]

When I “sold out” in the mid-90s to become a computer technician, I did not intend to become a philanthropist.
I’m an eccentric philanthropist. I support causes, individuals, and situations that particularly touch me and meet my internal set of requirements. I usually won’t give if asked, but I do give if I see a need. […]
