In fact, Roxanne had a near list-death experience recently.
However, eventually her soul returned to the list. For a while we
could hear her, but she could not hear us; she was in a
reverse-coma.

Sounds more like a near list-deaf experience…

With the archives, does anyone truly die? We can travel through hypertext,
navigating list-time, and it all lives, as if it were newly born.

Perhaps it is like this in real life, too, but the real life archives are
encrypted and no one has cracked the code.
