Today I learned that no matter how hard you try to:

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, someone will not understand
  • Include all the people affected by something, you will leave someone out (and you will be beaten for it)
  • Answer someone’s question, you will be second-guessed
  • Be honest, someone will assume you are lying or trying to “pull one over”
  • Be available, you will be accused of being hard to contact or of not keeping people informed
  • Be respectful and aware of others’ feelings, you will be accused of being insensitive

Is there a twelve step program for this place in which I am employed?

I’ve suggested that a 12-Step Program be started there. I think it might help.

Ok I don’t know what a twelve step program is (sounds like management mumbo jumbo to me to be honest) but the point of your findings dear Crowsie is that you need to get to the point where if you honestly know that you have done it then that is what feeds you. Then others agreeing with you will bolster that but if they don’t it will not upset your apple cart.

Of course the only thing to watch out for then is arrogance but as your an INTP and totally superior I know you won’t have any problems with that ;)
