I’ve been away from home base for a month, on a contract. It’s been interesting — ooh, that’s the kiss of death, ain’t it? — but I really can’t talk about what I’m doing.

The Internet connection at the hotel I’m staying at is horrible. Degrading signal, get dropped — all kinds of nasty. So, I thought I’d visit the Panera Bread down the street for some decent Internet. Yeah, that helped, but they have a strict limit of 30 minutes TOTAL from 11-1pm. After 30 minutes, the Internet goes away.

So, the ginormous post I’d written yesterday got erased, courtesy of Panera.

I don’t think you missed anything. I just grumbled about bad Internet connections and the joys of relearning how to use a laundromat.
